Alex Jones Returned To Twitter With Andrew Tate’s Post

Pondering why Twitter banned Conspiracy Theorist Alex Jones from Twitter raises many questions. He has returned to the platform by reposting social media influencer Andrew Tate’s message in which Tate praised Jones and Musk, claiming: “We’re back.”

Elon Musk has reversed his statement and reinstated the account of Jones after conducting the poll on X, where he said “The people have spoken and so it shall be.”

While disagreeing with Jones, Musk shared claims related to the Sandy Hook school shooting case and focused on his commitment to free speech, saying “That is what it comes down to in the end. If the people vote him back on, this will be bad for X financially, but principles matter more than money.”

On the death of his first-born son in vowing to uphold Jones’ ban, Elon Musk wrote “I have no mercy for anyone who would use the deaths of children for gain, politics, or fame.”

People have witnessed significant changes after Musk took over Twitter from reducing the staff to reinstating accounts linked to neo-Nazis. He also relaxes the misinformation rules to target freedom of speech.

Social media influencer and former kickboxer Andrew Tate also defended Jones on returning platform Twitter, calling him a “hero.”

Alex Jones’ Claimed that He A Victim of Politically Conspiracy

Over the complete scenario, Jones claimed that he was a victim of a politically motivated judge. He said, “I  had a very small operation and did not even understand how powerful I was.” He also added, “And so when that event, the school shooting, which I do believe happened 11 years ago, the Internet exploded and it was the top story off and on for years. All these professors and former school safety people, all of them said they believed it was a drill and I simply covered them covering that.”

I’ll say it again, I apologize that I just gave my commentary because I’m just a guy, a talk radio host. I do that on the Internet. I just take calls and interview guests and I play devil’s advocate. And if that hurts people’s feelings, I apologize. But I did not send people to your houses. I did not pee on graves. I don’t know any of the stuff that went on.”

In 2021, Jones was falsely claiming the Sandy Hook School shooting and ordered to pay $1.5bn (£1.32bn) in damages to victims’ family members. This happened when courts found that he had harassed and passed death threats to them with his false claims. After that, he was removed from other popular platforms, including Facebook and YouTube.

Additionally, he was banned from X in 2018 for breaching the platform’s rules on abusive behavior.

For unbanning Jones, Musk had asked Twitter users to share their reactions on the same. 7.9 million have registered their reactions and out of which 70.1% pushed a yes button in agreement. However, he is not allowed to write on Sandy Hook as a disclaimer from the platform.

His supporters are calling this action a victory for free speech.
